fish A British freelance director could be in line for a windfall if an advert he made for very little money  is screened during the Super Bowl.
James Bedford, 40, beat off competition from 5,000 clips around the world to be named  in the final ten.
The 30-second entry sees James, who acts in the video himself, angling at a lake while eating a packet of Doritos chips.
With a comedic musical backdrop, a fish then leaps out of the lake and bounds towards James, before they both start screaming at each other.
The fish – which was a plastic prop brought to life by puppetry and James’ computer software skills – then clasps his fin around the top of the bag of tortilla chips, before hopping off into the lake with them. Voting for the final result will close on January 28 and anyone wishing to support James in his bid for the top prize can do so by visiting the Doritos competition website. The winning video will then be screened in front of more than 60,000 fans and 115 million more watching on TV around the world at the NFL extravaganza in Arizona’s University of Phoenix Stadium February 1
