HARTLEY RESTAURANT GROUP ANNOUNCES THE GRAND OPENING OF THEIR NEWEST CONCEPT “WATERSOUND VILLAGE MARKET”

Spread the love

Long-time 30A family brings together their favorite dishes and life experiences into a new sister restaurant, Watersound Village Market.

Hartley Restaurant Group, known for its culinary excellence and commitment to bringing diverse flavors to the 30A area, is thrilled to introduce its latest venture, Village Market at Watersound Town Center, nicknamed “Watersound Village Market.” Owned by local entrepreneurs, George and Ann Hartley, this fresh dining establishment is set to open its doors in late September to early October.

George and Ann have been serving the 30A community for over 25 years, and now they’re bringing all your favorite dishes to one spot with Watersound Village Market. This new spot will feature cherished classics from their entire collection of Hartley Restaurants, along with gems discovered during their global travels. Watersound Village Market is poised to become a destination where you can savor the flavors that have delighted 30A residents and visitors alike for a quarter of a century. Their extensive travels have led them to discover unique dishes and flavors from all over.

Watersound Village Market will be the sister restaurant to Seagrove Village Market Café and Surfing Deer, two other beloved establishments under the Hartley Restaurant Group umbrella. The Hartley’s have also made their mark with other iconic ventures in the 30A area, including George’s at Alys Beach and La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar.

“Our colorful travels and life experiences have inspired us to curate a menu that pays homage to all of your favorite dishes. At Watersound Village Market, you’ll find your favorites from our entire collection of restaurants. Every dish is meticulously crafted, reflecting our profound love for great food.” – Ann and George Hartley

On the menu, diners can expect a dining journey that includes signature dishes such as the San Miguel Bowl, created from the Hartley’s travels to Mexico; Hot Tangy Fish on Asian Slaw, a dish inspired by Ann’s travels to spa weekends with her girlfriends in Texas; and the Fried Shrimp Po Boy, a sandwich so fresh and good, it’s why The Hartley’s bought the Seagrove Village Market. Similar to their historic sister restaurant, Seagrove Village Market Cafe, the menu will offer deep-fried love, in addition to other famous dishes compiled from several of the family’s past concepts.

The Watersound Village Market is located at 86 N Watersound Parkway, at Watersound Town Center on Highway 98. The expansive 5,800-square-foot, standalone building will feature 268 seats, including a beautiful wrap-around porch, and an outdoor patio area. The restaurant will be open six days a week, offering both lunch and dinner options, as well as a robust wine menu and full bar. In addition to the full-service restaurant experience, there will also be a dedicated section offering convenient grab-and-go items for those on the move. The grab-and-go items will vary from ready-made dips and soups, to family-style take-and-bake dinners to be cooked at home.

The grand opening festivities and dates will be announced soon, promising a celebration of their customers’ favorite recipes and 30A spirit.
