About Terri Schmidt: Terri Schmidt has enjoyed a multifaceted career spanning entertainment, sales, philanthropy, and writing. As a Performer/Entertainer from May 1983 to June 2006, she graced stages at Opryland USA, Six Flags Over Texas, Kings Island, and even performed for the Department of Defense. Notable moments include appearances on The Porter Waggoner Show and the Grand Ole Gospel Hour.

Schmidt’s commitment to philanthropy led her to establish the Harry M Schmidt Foundation in January 2013, aiding men battling Prostate Cancer, and volunteering with the Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN), supporting disaster victims. Additionally, she authored a monthly column for the Downtown Business Newspaper from March 2012 to March 2020, which later evolved into an award-winning book titled “When Drag Racing Met Country Music.” Recognized for her achievements, Schmidt received the “Outstanding Literary Achievement” award at the Las Vegas Producers Choice Honors Red Carpet Event in April 2019 and was acknowledged as an “Outstanding International Humanitarian” by the Hollywood F.A.M.E.
