Panama City Beach Announces the Limited Reopening of Beaches -Designed for Residents, Effective April 24-  PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., April 23, 2020 – Panama City Beach City Council voted today, following the Bay County Board of County Commissioners decision earlier this week, to reopen its beaches, beginning Friday, April 24 from 6-9 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. daily for recreational purposes. This limited reopening is specifically designed to allow residents the ability to access the beaches; however, beach commerce, such as chair, jet ski and parasail rentals are prohibited at this time. Social distancing protocols will be enforced, including maintaining group size to under 10 individuals and having a six-foot separation between groups.
