My name is Zillow. I am a three-month-old little fellow. My family came to live at Alaqua in March, when my Mom found herself with eight kittens, homeless, lost, and with nowhere to go. Alaqua gave us a wonderful place to live and names that all started with the letter “Z”. I have been chosen as the Pet of the Week, and I want to share our story with you.
Come join me to hear my tale… All aboard the “Z” Kitten Express!
Our Mom was a mere kitten herself, maybe one year old, but she proved to be a loving and devoted mom. She was the engine that drove us. She took such good care of each of her eight kittens, each of us a different color and pattern of stripes. Our unique colors were similar to the various colors of cars on a railway train. Eight of us, all in a row!
Alaqua provided us with a joyful kittenhood. They provided shelter and safety for us and made sure we were well socialized. Once we were weaned and thriving, our sweet mom was adopted by a loving home. By that time, the “Z” kittens were a force of our own, growing and loving life.
Soon, each of my siblings were adopted. One by one, I watched them go to loving families. Now, it is just me, Zillow. Maybe they should change my name to “Caboose”, as I am the last little kitten on the “Z” Kitten Express.
Please come to Alaqua and see me. Tell them you want to meet the only remaining “Z” kitten. They will let you pet and hold me, and you will see when you pick me up, that I immediately become a purr box and a snuggle bug. Humans say that good things come to those that wait and I know my family is out there somewhere. It just may be you! If I become part of your family, you can keep my name as “Zillow”, or you could call me “Caboose”, but all I really want is for you to call me yours!!!
