“We’re working with 30A.com to create a mobile companion to this year’s Digital Graffiti, including information about all participating exhibits and artists,” said Event Coordinator Kelli Arnold.
Arnold said that the information will be available on the day of Digital Graffiti (Saturday, June 11th) on both the free 30A iPhone app and the new 30A Android app, which was just released.
“Because the festival’s held at night and because of the big crowds, it’s been challenging in previous year to find the plaques that accompany each exhibit,” said 30A.com’s Mike Ragsdale. “Having a mobile guide will enable attendees to learn a little about each artist and entry real-time, at their own pace.”
Ragsdale said that the free mobile guides will also feature useful facts about event parking, ticketing and other festival-related info.
Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach will be held from 8:30pm until Midnight on Saturday, June 11th, 2011, rain or shine. Artists will compete for $10,000 in prize money, awarded in five different categories.
Advanced tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children until June 10th. Any tickets sold at the event gate will be $35 for adults and $10 for children.
The 30A iPhone and 30A Android mobile apps are available for free download now at www.30A.com .
