Born in San Francisco, California, LaMonica Garrett is a former professional Slamball player and now an actor. Some of his current best known TV roles are Deputy Sheriff Cane in Sons of Anarchy, Mike Ritter during the first two seasons of Designated Survivor, Lt. TAO Cameron Burk in The Last Ship, and Mar Novu / Monitor and Anti-Monitor in the Arrowverse programs, Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. Garrett made guest appearances on One Tree Hill, Suits, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Delilah, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. His films include Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Primal, and Clemency. In the Yellowstone prequel series, 1883, Garrett plays Thomas, a Pinkerton agent and veteran sergeant from a Buffalo Soldier regiment.
