The moment that shaped Angel Force Protection began outside the gates of my own children’s school. I watched as a stranger approached the campus, unchecked and unchallenged. There was nothing resembling protection – no watchful eyes, no sense of readiness. This experience was a turning point. Years of military service had instilled in me the importance of preparation, vigilance, and community responsibility. I realized that hope alone was not enough for our children. Schools required a structured, proactive approach – one that prioritizes prevention, not mere reaction. Angel Force Protection was born out of this conviction. Our mission answers the urgent need for consistent leadership presence in private and faith-based schools. It is not about fear; it is about creating an environment where children and educators can pursue their best work with confidence. This purpose continues to guide everything we do: standing as vigilant leaders, shaping stronger safety cultures, and ensuring every school can rely on more than good intentions. We exist to build peace of mind for those who entrust us with what matters most.
Joshua Yirkovsky serves as the founder and driving force behind Angel Force Protection. With over two decades of U.S. Navy service, he brings a commitment to operational discipline, leadership, and meaningful change. The inspiration for AFP came from a moment outside his sons’ school when he saw, firsthand, the absence of any security or deterrent in place. This powerful experience revealed a gap that hope alone could not address—children deserved reliable, structured protection led by leaders who understand risk from lived experience. Joshua’s background in high-stakes environments shapes every aspect of AFP’s proactive approach. Today, he not only leads a veteran-led organization dedicated to safer learning but also invests in future leadership and community partnerships. He believes true protection is about more than presence; it’s about stewardship and a promise to the next generation.
Luxe Life Discovered podcast idea originated from meeting so many diverse, talented individuals along the Emerald Gulf Coast in Florida.
