Waffle House is a song I wrote about a couple I met named Rob and Kelli. They told me that 30+ years ago they got married and their first dance was in a Waffle House. I thought it was so cute and sweet. It sounded like a country song to me! I had no idea how many people have their own stories of first dates, proposals, and special nights at Waffle Houses.
