FORT WALTON BEACH, FL,   – Fort Walton Beach Medical Center’s Employee Advisory Group sponsored a school supply drive for teachers during the month of July. Employees at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center campus, the Destin ER and Twin Cities Hospital joined together to collect the school supplies. “With all of the donations we received we were able to divide the donations between two schools – Wright Elementary & Elliott Point Elementary”, stated Mitch Mongell, CEO of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. “This help the Okaloosa County School District get one step closer to being able to provide a resource store for their teachers”. The donated supplies include but are not limited to: Disinfectant Wipes, Baby Wipes, Ziploc bags, Dry Erase Markers, Glue Sticks, Construction Paper, Reams of Copy Paper, Crayons, Scissors, Markers, Backpacks, Hand Sanitizer, Paper Towels, Band-Aids and Tissues.
