Alaqua Animal Refuge Pet of the Week “Barbee”
Barbee is the epitome of sugar & spice & everything nice! She is a 6 year old, female, Australian Shepherd who was rescued from a county shelter. She weighs about 50 lbs and is such a sweetheart. She longs for human interaction and is a very gentle soul. She is content to spend her days just lying by your side. We don’t know much about her past, but we know that her future is bright! She will be undergoing treatment for heartworms and we expect her to make a full recovery. If you would like to meet this happy girl, come out to the Refuge and see her today!
