NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release September 12, 2012 The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is asking for the public’s help in attempting to locate Savannah Amanda Mayhue. Savannah is a 16 year old white female, 5’2, approximately 100 lbs, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She has braces on her teeth and a scar over her left eye. She was last seen wearing a red tank top and red shorts. Savannah left a note for her mother stating that she was going away for a few days and for her mother not to worry about her. The last contact anyone has had from her was on August 30, 2012, when Savannah called a friend from a blocked number and told the friend not to tell her family that she was still in the area. It was believed Savannah may have left the state and traveled to see other family members in Georgia but after further investigation by Georgia law enforcement, they were unable to find her. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Savannah Amanda Mayhue, please contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office at 850-892-8186 or Inv. Donna Armstrong at 850-267-2000.
