Structure Fire in Seacrest Beach
(Santa Rosa Beach) –
The S outh Walton Fire District (SWFD) received a call at 11:10 A.M. this morning reporting a structure fire at 8865 E. CR 30 A in the Seacrest Beach area. SWFD crews arrived within 6 minutes of the original 911 call to find a garage fire that was quickly spreading to the house.
An aggressive attack by the first arriving crews contained the majority of the damage to the garage. The residents were home at the time, and were able to elude the fire with no injuries. Crews remained on scene into the afternoon to ensure the fire was completely out and assist the occupants of the home.
Estimated loss is approximately $150,000.00
