NEWS RELEASE Walmart Supports the Santa Patrol Program For Immediate Release June 15, 2011 The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) today received a $1,000 donation from Walmart during their grand opening event held in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. Each year, the WCSO Santa Patrol and Walmart team up for a fundraiser and donation gift drive to support underprivileged children during the winter holiday season. “Last year, the Santa Patrol generated funds to provide more than 208 children with more than 1,950 bicycles, dolls and other donated toys,” said Lt. Eddie Farris. “We are proud of the partnership we have with Walmart and other local businesses and individuals who continue to help the children of Walton County.” Businesses and individuals who wish to make monetary donations are encouraged to address checks to Walmart/Walton County Sheriff’s Office, and mail them to the attention of Lt.
