The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 17-year-old Kayla Jones, of Walton County, Fla. WCSO deputies received a call April 23 at approximately 4:28 p.m. from Kayla’s mother regarding her daughter’s disappearance.  Deputies immediately responded to her residence. There is no indication or evidence of foul play, and her mother indicated that Kayla has run away several times.  The most recent occurrence was April 5. Kayla made contact with a family friend April 24 via telephone to inform him that she was “okay.” She did not disclose her location. In addition to working with regional law enforcement agencies, the WCSO asks the public for assistance in locating the missing juvenile.  Kayla Jones is described as a white female who is 5 feet, 7 inches tall.  She weighs approximately 125 pounds and has hazel eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.
