WHAT:
Sunset Isle Yacht Club, located on Okaloosa Island on the south side of Choctawhatchee Bay, will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting with the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, along with state and local officials, on Saturday, October 26 from 2-5 p.m.
Guests are invited by land or boat to the newly opened marina to celebrate the official opening and tour the grounds. Community members and local officials will have the opportunity to view the state-of-the-art marina and its top-tier amenities including two separate, ultra high-speed fueling stations, shore power from 30 to 200 AMPs, camera security systems and in slip pump out system, and the 30,000 to 50,000-pound Neptune first class vessel lifts. Those in attendance will learn about future plans of the site, which includes a resort-style pool, recreational facilities, lawn areas, full-service bar and restaurant, and much more.
