Alaqua Animal Refuge invites the community to join in for the 3rd Annual FORE! The Love of Animals Golf Tournament. This event is set against the stunning backdrop of The Links Golf Club at Sandestin on Saturday, June 8, 2024. It’s a perfect blend of competitive golfing and heartfelt support for our furry friends, benefiting the refuge and its mission. 

The day begins at 8:30 a.m. with participant check-in, accompanied by a breakfast and a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar. The golf tournament, starting at 10 a.m., will feature a shotgun start and scramble format, offering a fun challenge for golfers of all levels.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, June 8th, 2024

• Location: 165 Sandestin Blvd N, Miramar Beach, FL 32550

• Deadline to Register: Friday, May 24th, 2024

Registration Information:

• Teams of 4 (individual players will be paired)

• Includes 18 holes with a cart, boxed lunch, and 2 drink tickets

• Fee: $250 per individual, $850 per team of four

Following the tournament, the celebration continues with a “Yappy Hour” awards ceremony at the Sunset Bay Cafe Pool Deck at Sandestin. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine, and can participate in raffles. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, with additional recognitions such as ‘Most Spirited Team’, ‘Closest to the Hole’ for both ladies and men, and the unique ‘Closest to the Snake’ challenge.
