It’s the holidays and The Island is excited to bring a little sand into the season! Join The Island on Saturday, December 4 for a holiday tradition in paradise, A Beachy Little Christmas. The Island Resort will be decked out in beautiful Christmas decor to set the stage for the celebration in store. Festivities begin at noon, with an opportunity for resort guests and the local community to meet and greet with Misty Claus – The Island’s resident mermaid. Attendees will also enjoy activities including kids crafts, spirited holiday music, special seasonal cocktails, and more. At 12:30 pm, guests of all ages will have the opportunity to build snowmen and other holiday scenery around the beach! A skilled team of professionals* will be on hand to teach all their tips and tricks in sand sculptures. This event is free to attend and open to all who seek the holiday spirit! Schedule of Events: 12:00 – 4:00 pm – Kids crafts, Music, Misty Claus, Beverages, and more! 12:30 pm – Community Sand Sculptures *Everyone is welcome to participate in the sand sculpture demo/class at 12:30 pm.
