Tommy Bahama gives to Children in Crisis
Miramar Beach, FL, Feb. 23,2011— Tommy Bahama Tropical Café at Grand Boulevard will host a reception for Children in Crisis (CIC) on Wednesday, March 2 from 5 until 7 p.m. General Manager of Tommy Bahama Tropical Café, Mario Mardones will present a check for $29,694 to CIC Executive Director Ken Hair. The money was raised at the 2010 Tommy Bahama White Sands Golf Classic, held at the Raven Golf Club in Destin.
2010 marked the third year for the golf event. Tommy Bahama Tropical Café has collectively raised $79,752 for Children in Crisis with this tournament.
Hair said, “We can’t thank Tommy Bahama Tropical Café and the White Sands Charity Golf Classic enough for their wonderful support for the third year in a row. Their donation has helped us provide a home, food, clothing and care for our children and make a difference in the lives of so many children.”
The restaurant will have a tasting of hors d’oeuvres and drinks for the guests. Media, as well as golfers and sponsors from the event are invited to attend. Please RSVP to Reagan Williams at 864-4242.
