Walton County Coastal Library is hosting a new writer’s group to meet the 4
th Saturday each month starting at 10:30 a.m. on March 22, 2014. Meet and greet local writers in a supportive round table discussion format. “New” writers to published authors are encouraged to participate. Network, empower your writing skills and hone your craft with peers who care about each other’s improvement.
Participants are invited to read aloud to share and showcase their work to the group. Locally published author, Rickie-Wood Bovee will give a 30 minute presentation on self-publishing. Rickie inspires the creative writing in all of us with her extensive research in the field coupled with her personal experiences.
Her ghost novels are available in various formats on Amazon. “Button Hook Child”, “Don’t Move the Coat”, “Sweet Melody”, and stand-alone novel, “My Summer with Emma”, As William Shakespeare said, “Suit the action to the word, the word to the action.”
