The Beloved Artisan Bakery from DeFuniak Springs Opens Its Second Location on the Boulevard

Grand Boulevard’s newest tenant, Perla Baking Co., is now open. The artisan bakery that has earned a devoted following in DeFuniak Springs since 2019 is now part of Grand Boulevard’s curated collection of distinctive shops and dining.

Known for thoughtfully crafted pastries, breads, and breakfast items made with high-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients, Perla Baking Co. reflects the same commitment to craft and community that defines Grand Boulevard. The Miramar Beach location marks the bakery’s second, and first beyond its hometown, on historic Main Street.

Guests will find a menu that travels well from the original DeFuniak Springs bakery — both staples and exclusive new items created for this location, with daily specials, seasonal drinks, and an expanded matcha menu rounding out the offerings. Perla Baking Co. is part of the Amavida Coffee family and holds Certified B Corporation status, sourcing from trusted producers including King Arthur Flour, Amavida Coffee Roasters, and Florida-based farms Westonwood Ranch and Dragonfly Farms.

And the Boulevard’s momentum doesn’t stop there. Warby Parker is set to join the lineup in April 2026, bringing its signature approach to eyewear and eye care to Miramar Beach. Looking further ahead, Shade’s Bar & Grill is slated to open in late 2026, adding yet another distinctive dining option to the collection.
