Proceeds will benefit South Walton Academy

ROSEMARY BEACH, Fla – Restaurant Paradis will host their 10th annual Prohibition Repeal Wine Dinner, presented by Cryo 850, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, benefitting South Walton Academy.

The decade-long event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with an intimate cocktail hour featuring a specialty spirit served in a commemorative glass, courtesy of Buddy’s Seafood. The restaurant will be closed for the private event and transformed into a Gatsby, Prohibition-era celebration.

Guests will take their seats in the main dining room for a four-course meal, presented by 30A Hat Bar, 30A Home, Shore Thing Cigars, and Silver Sands Premium Outlets. Prepared by Paradis’ award-winning chef, Mark Eichin and his culinary team, each course will feature the local produce, Gulf seafood, and fine meats that Paradis is known for. Throughout the night, attendees will be entertained by an electric violinist from Violin 30A sponsored by Inlet Beach Real Estate, along with a photo booth courtesy of Coastal Insurance and Shay Wiggins, florals sponsored by 30A Luxury Vacations, and photography sponsored by Swiftly Catered. Each guest will also receive a special gift to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the event.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit South Walton Academy, a private, non-profit inclusion school and pediatric therapy clinic in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. Located at 305 Mack Bayou Road, South Walton Academy is dedicated to empowering every child to reach their highest potential through inclusive education and community engagement. The school serves children from preschool through 12th grade and offers individualized education as well as therapeutic support such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioral therapy for those who need therapeutic accommodations.

“South Walton Academy was built on the belief that every child deserves access to an education and support system that truly sees them, but what makes South Walton Academy special isn’t just our programs, it’s the community that rallies around our students,” said Calley Middlebrooks, founder of South Walton Academy. “The Prohibition Repeal Dinner is a powerful reminder that when a community comes together, we can remove barriers, open doors, and change the trajectory of a child’s life. Thank you for your generosity, your belief in our mission, and for standing with our students and families.

Over the past decade, Paradis’ Prohibition Dinners has raised over $63,000 for various local charities including Alaqua Animal Refuge, Beach Care Services, Destin Charity Wine Auction, Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center, Food for Thought Outreach, Hannies Grannies, Neurodiversity Resource of the Panhandle, and Westonwood Ranch.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to host this charity wine dinner for the past 10 years,” said Danny Cosenzi, owner of Restaurant Paradis. “Bringing so many generous people from our community together for a fabulous evening and raising money for great causes has become something we look forward to year after year. South Walton Academy is providing a much-needed service in our community, and we are so thankful we can give back. We look forward to hosting many more dinners for years to come.”

In keeping with the night’s theme, guests are encouraged to dress in 1920s, Gatsby-themed attire. There are a limited number of tickets available for $250 per person that includes all food, beverage, and gratuity. Tickets can be purchased online at http://restaurantparadis.com.
