Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation Presents the Red Shoe Party Benefiting Local Foster Children in Okaloosa & Walton Counties
The Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation is proud to announce the return of the Red Shoe Party on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 6 PM to 9 PM at Old Florida Fish House in Seagrove Beach. This signature cocktail event invites guests to ease on down the yellow brick road as the evening celebrates a timeless theme with profound meaning for the children the Foundation serves – there’s truly no place like home.
The Red Shoe Party draws inspiration from Dorothy’s iconic ruby slippers, serving as a symbol of hope, safety, and the unwavering belief that every child deserves the comfort and security of home. For foster children navigating uncertainty, this theme carries special weight, and this event helps ensure they receive the support, stability, and advocacy they need.
Guests are invited to step out in their finest cocktail attire and incorporate any hint of red, from standout shoes to subtle accessories. While red footwear is encouraged for the Red Shoe Contest—featuring Sportiest, Most Glamorous, and Most Creative—everyone is welcome to join the celebration, ruby slippers or not.
This year’s celebration will feature electrifying entertainment from DJ V-Train, along with elevated hors d’oeuvres, chef-curated entrée stations, decadent desserts, themed signature cocktails, and a vibrant silent auction. Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to hear powerful stories highlighting how their support changes lives for children in foster care across Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
“For the children we serve, stability and belonging are not guaranteed, and that’s why this event matters so deeply,” said Virginia Davis, President of the Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation. “The Red Shoe Party allows our community to come together and wrap these children in support, hope, and compassion. Every ticket, every sponsorship, every moment shared helps us remind them that they are not alone, and that a safe and loving home is something every child deserves.”
Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased online at nwfgal.org. Early reservations are encouraged due to limited availability.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals wishing to make a meaningful impact. Sponsorship packages include exclusive recognition and engagement before, during, and after the event. To learn more, please contact Virginia Davis at president@nwfgal.org.
All proceeds from the Red Shoe Party directly support the Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation, advancing its mission to advocate for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children within the court system by providing essential resources, educational support, and life-enriching experiences.
