CULTURAL ARTS ALLIANCE OF WALTON COUNTY AWARDS EMERALD COAST THEATRE COMPANY WITH $5,000 ARTS FOR ALL GRANT
Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) is proud to announce it has been awarded a $5,000 Arts Education Grant for Organizations from the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) in support of its 2025–2026 season. This contribution strengthens ECTC’s mission to enrich and entertain the Emerald Coast community through professional theatre productions, youth educational programs, and meaningful community outreach initiatives. This funding comes from the CAA’s Arts For All Grant Program which is designed to empower creative expression, foster cultural enrichment, and strengthen the arts throughout Walton County. These grants specifically back initiatives that inspire creativity, enhance learning, and expand access to the arts for students of all ages.
The Cultural Arts Alliance has been a cornerstone of artistic growth and cultural enrichment throughout Walton County. Their collaboration with ECTC extends beyond financial support as the CAA also features rotating exhibitions of local artists in the ECTC lobby as part of their partnership, giving patrons the opportunity to experience the local and vibrant visual arts alongside live performance.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Cultural Arts Alliance for their ongoing commitment to ECTC and for the impact they have on creative organizations like ours,” said Producing Artistic Director Nathanael Fisher. “We are so honored to have them as a longstanding partner and their support elevates our work onstage, enhances the experience for our audiences, and gives us the opportunity to help amplify the voices of so many talented artists across the Emerald Coast.”
The donation helps support ECTC’s family theatre offerings with Season 13’s production being Elephant and Piggie’s “We Are In A Play”. The CAA’s support also allows ECTC to offer field trips to local private and public schools throughout Northwest Florida. Through partnerships like the CAA’s, ECTC is able to nurture creativity and connection in Walton County and beyond, with satellite programs in both Freeport and Defuniak Springs.
ECTC’s 2025–2026 season is made possible with generous support from Grand Boulevard Town Center, St. Joe Community Foundation, Howard Group, and Jerry and Alice Zich.
