“We are so excited about our spring classes! We have the favorites, plus new classes, and a show everyone loves – Wizard of Oz! So, follow the yellow brick road straight to registration! We hope to see everyone on stage with us!” – Heath Carroll, Director of Education

Wizard of Oz – This Spring the Emerald City is coming to the Emerald Coast Theatre Company. Our students will tell the classic story of Dorothy’s trip down the yellow brick road through singing, dancing, and artistic expression. We have multiple age groups producing this musical masterclass from grades K-12. Join us at ECTC on Grand Blvd or our satellite locations in DeFuniak Springs and Freeport. No matter the age, this production offers much to teach about theatrical performance, and the large ensemble cast allows every student the opportunity to shine!

Spring Youth and Adult Education Classes are held from January – April 2025, with varying dates based on program. Payment plans and scholarships are available. *Tuition price includes a $30 non-refundable registration fee. Class locations include ECTC’s main space at 560 Grand BLVD, Suite 200 in Miramar Beach, FL as well as Florida Chautauqua Theatre (FCT) at 848 Baldwin Avenue in Defuniak Springs, FL and at the Freeport Elementary School in Freeport, FL.

“Give your children a chance to express themselves on stage, in a comfortable environment with other children, without judgement. Theatre Arts can help children break out of their shells, improve confidence and make friendships that last. We are thrilled to be able to continue these programs here at ECTC and surrounding communities.” – ECTC co-founder and producing artistic director Nathanael Fisher.

ECTC’s 2024-2025 season is made possible with support from Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, St. Joe Community Foundation, Howard Group, South Walton Tourist Development Council, and Jerry and Alice Zich.
