Sinfonia Gulf Coast ignites its 2024-2025 season with Luminescence: Catalyst by Candlelight, a captivating concert featuring the Grammy Award-winning Catalyst Quartet on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. This intimate evening of classical music will illuminate the architecturally stunning Seaside Chapel in the Town of Seaside.

A diverse program called Intersections will include three pieces by Paquito D’Rivera, Catalyst Quartet’s arrangement of Astor Piazzolla’s Suite del Angel, George Gershwin’s Lullaby and Maurice Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major.

The Catalyst Quartet, hailed by The New York Times at their Carnegie Hall debut as “invariably energetic and finely burnished… playing with earthy vigor,” is renowned for their perfect ensemble unity and unmatched execution. Comprised of Karla Donehew Perez (violin), Abi Fayette (violin), Paul Laraia (viola), and Karlos Rodriguez (cello), the ensemble has redefined the classical music experience through their innovative approach and passionate performances.

This unique concert, set against the serene backdrop of the candlelit Seaside Chapel, promises to be an enchanting experience, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and masterful live music.
