South Walton’s Ohana Day School will be hosting a Summer Camp in June and July at their Grand Boulevard at Sandestin location. Children ages three through five are invited to participate in four weeks of themed summer camps, beginning June 10, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, for $600 per child. Ohana Day School, fully licensed and accredited, was established in 2020 at 30Avenue in Inlet Beach, Fla., to deliver an exceptional model for early education.
The first week of camp will take place June 10 through June 14, and will be an “Under the Sea” adventure. Children will dive into the amazing world of marine life while creating ocean-themed art alongside hands-on exploration as they learn about fish and other sea life.
June 17 through June 21 is the second week of camp, and it will be “Down on the Farm”. Children will learn all about life on the farm by planting seeds and watching them grow, while also learning about the animals and farming communities local to northwest Florida.
The third week of camp will take place July 8 through July 12, and is titled “Around the World”. During this week of camp, children will participate in crafts and fun activities that are focused on different countries and their culture.
The last week of camp will be held July 15 through July 19, and is themed “At the Carnival”. Focusing on classic carnival games, such as the bean bag toss, children will get to play different games that are guaranteed to keep them entertained.

School teaching strategies include multi-sensory applications, theme-based activities, and discovery time. Additionally, the environmental and educational program objective at Ohana Day School is to grow and develop young scholars socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.
