Emerald Coast Theatre Company Presents Comedy at the Boulevard

Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) is proud to present Comedy at the Boulevard, Saturday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. Come for an uproarious night of laughs! ECTC presents some of the Southeast’s most hilarious comedians! Hosted by resident funny guy Jason Hedden. Featuring Rahn Hortman (Headliner) and Matt Taylor.

About Rahn Hortman: Rahn Hortman”s laid-back style has been seen all over the country. With millions of views on social media, literally all over the world. His style allows him to find the humor in tough real-life situations, making him extremely relatable and a crowd favorite. Christopher Titus describes Rahn’s style as “Clean Not Soft.” His versatility has led him to perform on stage at churches, colleges, clubs, and corporate events. This year he went on his 2nd National Tour With Anjelah Johnson on her “Who Do I Think I Am” tour. Made Television appearances on the Circle Network and JFL TV. He was a semi-finalist in ABFF Comedy Wings (HBO).

He has been invited to perform in several festivals, LaughFest (Grand Rapids) South Beach Comedy Festival(Miami) Bay Area Black Comedy Festival (Oakland), and the Asheville Comedy Festival (Ashville). He can be heard regularly on Sirius XM radio. He taped his first special “Good Game” on DryBar Comedy. He was named Creative Loafing’s “ Best Stand Up Comedian” in 2019. Rahn Came in 3rd place out of hundreds of entries in the Jeanne Lawrence Comedy Competition. Rahn Has made television appearances on Nickelodeon “Nick Mom Nite Out” , Comedy Time Tv, The TBN Network, and Mav Tv. He is currently filming the pilot episode of the sitcom “Advisors”.

About Matt Taylor: Nashville comedian Matt Taylor can best be described as ignorantly optimistic. Like sifting for silver in a septic tank, he finds the funny in life’s crappiest moments. You’ve heard him on SiriusXM and seen him on Nashville Stand Up (PeacockTV & Circle Network). He’s also been fortunate enough to work with notable comics such as John Crist, Leanne Morgan, Joe List, Pauly Shore and can currently be seen on tour with Rodney Carrington!

About Jason Hedden: Jason Hedden is an actor that took to stand-up comedy when his wife stopped laughing at his jokes at home. His clean comedy is right for any audience and funny enough for every audience. He lives in Panama City, Florida where he performs regularly and produces monthly shows with Panama City Comedy. He has worked at StarDome, The Comedy Catch, The Laughing Skull Lounge, Stand Up Live Huntsville, Jackie Knight’s Comedy Club and dozens of other venues throughout the southeast. Jason was part of the Pensacola Indie Fringe and Comedy Festival, NY Underground Comedy Festival, West End Comedy Festival and Gulf Coast Comedy Festival. Comedy at the Boulevard will be staged on the Cabaret Stage in ECTC’s main space located on the second floor of 560 Grand Boulevard in Grand Boulevard Town Center in Miramar Beach.
