About Manuel Díaz:
Brand Ambassador in Florida for Diplomatico Rum – Born and raised in Venezuela, Manuel studied Accountant in Barquisimeto, soon after graduating he decided to become an Audio Engineer and went to Orlando Florida where he graduated at Full Sail University as a Audio Recording Engineer. Then he came back to Venezuela where he and his brothers started a Recording Studios and a Sound Reinforcement Company to record and provide audio for local and international artists. In 2002 his father who has been in the spirits business since he was 18 years old joined a small group of local entrepreneurs and founded Destilerias Unidas, this Company later acquired Diplomatico Rum from Diageo and worked very hard to make Diplomatico one of the leading brands in the world. Since then Manuel has been working with his father learning the process of distillation, aging, blending, bottling and everything related with the spirits business. In 2016 Manuel was asked to move to Panamá and get in charge of the Project for the new bottling facility for Diplomatico Rum in Panamá, he managed design, cost and performance of this building and bottling line. In 2018 he moved from Panamá to the USA and established in Orlando Florida where he serves as Brand Ambassador, supporting the expansion of the Brand.
