GCSC VPA presents “An Evening of Showtunes Fundraiser”

Panama City, FL.– The Visual & Performing Arts Division at Gulf Coast State College presents “An Evening of Showtunes” in support of the GCSC Foundation Ray H. Stanley Memorial Musical Theatre Scholarship Fund. “We are doing this as a way of keeping Ray’s memory alive by helping future students who share his passion,” said Jason Hedden, Visual & Performing Arts Chair. Ray Stanley was a theatre major at GCSC and one of the founders of the GCSC Players, a student theatre organization. The performers are current and former GCSC students as well as local musical theatre performers. Associate Professor of Music, Carissa Hosea, and Adjunct Professor David Watson will accompany the performers.

• The performance will be held Friday, February 26 at 7:30pm in the Amelia Center Theatre and live online. • General admission for online and in person is $20. • In person seats are extremely limited due to social distancing. Masks are required on campus. • GCSC students, faculty and staff are admitted free, but donations are encouraged since this is a fundraiser for a scholarship.
