The Blue Giraffe Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary at new Location The Crossings at Inlet Beach

The Blue Giraffe, an art and gifts boutique in Inlet Beach, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Conveniently located in The Crossings at Inlet Beach near Rosemary Beach, the mother-daughter owned gallery will be celebrating with clients and art lovers near and far during the one-day event. Originally located in WaterColor Town Center, the art gallery moved to a new larger location last year and has been enjoying a growing base of local fans and loyal customers from the around the country. “We are humbled by the outpouring of support over the last 10 years,” said Christi Sheffield, co-owner of The Blue Giraffe with her mom, Debbie Taylor. “This year has been filled with challenges, but we’ve found silver linings everywhere we look. We’re honored to be a source of positivity and inspiration among our clients and beyond through our bright, happy art, original jewelry, inspirational books and thoughtful gifts.” The anniversary celebration will include light bites and libations throughout the day in an expanded space that will allow for social distancing. In addition, guests will be able to meet some of the artists whose work is represented in the gallery. Artist Polli Youngbeck will be on hand painting an original commemorative artwork that will be available for sale at the end of the day. In addition, award winning musician and luthier, Chris Alvarado, will be unveiling his newest project—handcrafted wooden trays. Building upon his signature custom guitars, which are renowned for their detailed wooden inlays, Chris is introducing a collection of curated trays that celebrate the communities of 30-A. With a love for literacy, The Blue Giraffe will also be welcoming a children’s book author for storytelling and book signing during the event. Families will enjoy meeting artist/author Charles Schneidewind and discovering his children’s book, Legend of the Tooth Ogre. The fun loving tale of the tooth ogre and his partnership with the tooth fairy will have children of all ages smiling at bedtime. With health and safety at the forefront, The Blue Giraffe is making use of an expanded space in the former Drift store as well as using space outside the gallery. Masks are required for all guests and participating artists. For those who cannot attend in person, The Blue Giraffe will also be celebrating virtually with an online Anniversary Event.
