9th 30A 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Thanksgiving Races Virtual, Nov. 21 – 29 Highway 30A, South Walton County
Race organizers invite participants to register from wherever they may be this Thanksgiving for the 9
th year for the annual 30A 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run races. Because of the pandemic, this one will be a virtual event. This race has been ranked one of the top five Thanksgiving Day races in the South.
Participants, from any location, have the week of Thanksgiving, between Nov. 21 – 29, to complete their race. Everyone is invited to submit their results as well to see how they placed. As well, participants can choose to race the traditional 10K, 5K and 1 mile fun run distances, or an all new Challenge 30A 30K (18.6 mile) distance. Challenge runners will receive a special post-race email with signature discounts and prizes from 30A area merchants.
How It Works:
- Register for the virtual event option at 30a10k.com.
- Complete a chosen event distance between Nov. 21 – 29.
- Submit results online. Don’t forget to tag #30a10k on social media.
- All participants will receive a signature race medal and t-shirt in the mail after the event.
The 2020 charity race partners this year include the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and Point Washington Medical Clinic. As of 2019, the races have donated more than $420,000 to local charities over the past eight years.
