Southside Slice to Close its Doors as Last Call Restaurant Group Finds New Ways to Repurpose the Space

After much deliberation, the owners of the Last Call Restaurant Group have decided to close Southside Slice and use the space in a few new ways. First, the kitchen will lend itself to Pescado as a prep kitchen to ease the burden of the very popular Gulf view restaurant. Second, the kitchen will also be used as a catering kitchen for the group’s catering and special events. Third, the dining space will be used as a private event space for rehearsal dinners, wine tastings and private dining. They believe this will be this best use of the space moving forward. The owners are saddened to close Southside Slice, but thrilled about the possibilities in the near and distant future. They will also be opening Fluke Oyster Bar in Inlet Beach within the next year or so. Stay tuned for additional info coming forth on Fluke later this year.

About Last Call Restaurant Group: Last Call Restaurant Group (LCRG), owned by Joe Freer, Greg Wakeham, John Freer, Steven Sapp, and Ken Duenas, is comprised of four restaurants currently – Shades Bar and Grill, Pescado Seafood Grill and Rooftop Bar, and Shaka Sushi and Noodle Bar.
