The South Walton Fire District proudly presents the 1st Annual South Walton Fire District Veteran’s Day 5K. The race will take place on Saturday, November 10th 2018 in South Walton.

Come join us as we show our appreciation to all our Veterans. COURSE INFO: This 5K will begin and end at the South Walton Courthouse Annex near the Purple Heart Monument traveling through the NW Florida State College Campus, JD Miller Road and South Walton High School. Click here to see the Course Map. Subway sandwiches will be provided courtesy of former Army Ranger and local Subway owner, Josh Gregory, after the race. Race Packets pick-ups will be at the following locations/dates: -2109 S. County Highway 395 SWFD Station 2 on Thursday Nov. 8, 2018 from 5pm-7pm -485 Mack Bayou SWFD Station 4 on Friday Nov. 9, 2018 from 5pm -7pm. Trophies awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Overall (non-gender) Medals awarded to the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each age division Male Divisions Ages 19 and under Ages 20-39 Ages 40-59 Ages 60 -79 Ages 80 and over Female Divisions Ages 19 and under Ages 20-39 Ages 40-59 Ages 60 -79 Ages 80 and over A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to educate the children of our fallen special operations heroes.
