Get on Your Feet with the Young Professionals of Walton County 

The Young Professionals of Walton County (YPWC) have partnered with Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation to host a mix and mingle during the June 14 Concerts in the Village with Gloria’s Miami Sound with Nikki Torres. The Gloria Estefan & The Miami Sound Machine tribute group will perform at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, located at 4323 Commons Drive West, Destin, FL 32541, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. 

Cost to attend is $10 for YPWC Members and $15 for non-members. All ticket proceeds benefit Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s community outreach programs. La Paz Restaurante & Cantina will provide appetizers and drinks to YPWC event attendees. All guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets, chairs, beverages and snacks to enjoy this event.

YPWC Board Members will have a check-in table at the entrance of the village for those wishing to purchase tickets at the gate.

An extension of the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce, Young Professionals of Walton County host events the second Thursday of every month aimed at assisting its members to give, connect and grow. At the beginning of May YPWC hosted a membership drive with nearly $3,000 in prize packages. Winners of the three packages were Gia Perez, Proffitt PR; Karah Fridley Young, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation; and Satori Wilson, WaterColor Inn & Resort.

 YPWC invites the community to Amavida Coffee at The Market Shops, on Thursday, July 12, 2018, for the second ‘Rise & Grind’ event to learn “How You Can Profit from Investing in Local Charities We Love​ a ‘Latte’”.  Cost to attend is $10 per person and includes coffee, light breakfast fare and invaluable networking among local charities. Space is limited to the first 50 registrants. Those interested in attending are asked to register in advance
