GCSC hosts “Careers in the Arts Workshop”
Panama City, FL – Gulf Coast State College is partnering with the Florida Alliance for Arts Education and Bay Arts Alliance to host “Careers in the Arts Workshop” for middle and high school students.
The event is designed to inspire and guide students in the pursuit of creative careers, and experts will share how to utilize creativity as a pathway to success in any career. The workshop will include interactive sessions in art, music, theatre and dance. GCSC alumnus, Matthew Holtzclaw, one of New York City’s most in-demand entertainers will be the keynote speaker. There will also be networking opportunities with representatives from Gulf Coast State College.
REGISTRATION
- Registration is available at www.faae.org/careers-in-arts-workshops. On-site registration will not be available.
- Students may register to attend on their own or teachers may register groups of students.
- Free transportation may be provided for schools with minimal arts programs. Email info@faae.org to see if your school qualifies.
