PRONTO DELIVERY LAUNCHES FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE ON 30A
(Santa Rosa Beach, FL – June 30, 2017) ¾Pronto Delivery Co., a food delivery service powered by electric bicycles, will begin taking orders Saturday, July 1, 2017. Pronto will initially service Grayton Beach, WaterColor, Seaside and Seagrove nightly, from 4 PM to 9 PM, along with a special breakfast delivery to an expanded area.
Frustrated by a lack of food delivery selections, founders Chris Cumby, Glen Metropolit and Rob Truax were inspired to deliver a much-needed concept to 30A by bike. The initial roll-out will include 30A favorites Barefoot BBQ, Bud and Alley’s Pizza Bar + Trattoria, Charlie’s Donut Truck with Chiringo starting later this month.
“There are days where you just don’t want to cook and waiting in traffic to pick up a meal just isn’t an option,” says co-founder Glen Metropolit. “As dads, we understand the balancing act of wanting a great dining experience without sacrificing the sanctity of bedtime. With Pronto you get the best of both worlds and your favorite 30A foods are delivered right to your door.”
The use of electric bicycles was a vital element in the development of the business. With intensifying traffic along 30A, bikes are often the fastest moving mode of transportation along the Scenic Corridor. Electric bikes allow riders to cover greater distances in less time, creating a fast and fresh food delivery experience for users.
“From a sustainability standpoint, the use of electric bikes was a no brainer,” states Chris Cumby, co-founder of Pronto Delivery Co. “We want to provide a service that locals and visitors both need, without negatively impacting the environment of this beautiful place we call home.”

About Pronto Delivery Co. Pronto Delivery Co. was founded in 2017 by local dads in response to the age-old question, “What’s for dinner?” Frustrated by a lack of food delivery selections and slowly-moving traffic that deterred even the hungriest of take-out patrons, the idea for an electric bike-based food delivery service was born.
