Cafe Thirty-A’s Christmas Charity Ball Brings in $15,000 for Caring and Sharing Just in Time for the New Year
Cafe Thirty-A celebrated the holidays and gave back to the community at their Christmas Charity Ball benefitting Caring and Sharing of South Walton on December 10, 2016. The party featured heavy hors d’oeuvres, DJ Vladi, the Facetime photo booth, dancing, and a huge silent auction. Guests mingled and danced throughout the night and everyone had a great time. Harriet Crommelin, owner of Cafe Thirty-A, chose Caring and Sharing of South Walton as the recipient because of their great work feeding and assisting our community. The event raised $15,000, which will go towards stocking the Caring and Sharing pantry and assisting local families with bills and other financial assistance. Needs at Caring and Sharing: Caring and Sharing of South Walton is in high need of several food donation items, which include; boxed macaroni and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, grape jelly, peanut butter and canned goods. They continuously find themselves needing diapers for those families that have young children. If you are unable to provide items, but would still like to assist, they are always in need of volunteers. They also always accept monetary donations.
