Walton County Traffic Alert Drivers will encounter traffic disruptions on the following state roads in Walton County as crews perform construction and maintenance activities. • U.S. 331 Choctawhatchee Bay Bridge – The Choctawhatchee Bay Bridge will be reduced to one lane from 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 as crews pour concrete for the new fishing pier under construction adjacent to the bridge. Traffic flaggers will be on-site to safely direct traffic through the work zone. All activities are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
