Good Grit Magazine Launches “Character of the South Awards”
Birmingham, Alabama, (March 25, 2016) – Good Grit Magazine
has launched their first annual “Character of the South Awards” for
2016. Nominations are submitted online via the magazine’s website GoodGritMag.com until April 1st and open voting begins on April 11th. Categories range from “Best Brunch to Innovative and Emerging City” with 25 categories in all. Nominees must be open and running for a full calendar year prior to the April 1st deadline and must be operational in one of the eligible southern states. Winners will be featured in the July/August “Wanderlust” issue.
Good Grit’s editor, Jaime Primak Sullivan said, “The Character of the South Awards are crucial to Good Grit’s commitment to highlighting emerging southern creators, innovators and talent in spaces like texture, savor and humanity. We are very excited to showcase not only the established southern talent, but the up and coming pool of talent as well.”
