Adam Kraar with Escape to Create

Actors from across the region revive The REP’s popular script-in-hand readings with playwright Adam Kraar’s lyrical drama Dream Of A Deer At Dusk. Finalist for the National Playwrights Conference, the plot centers on an idealistic 15-year-old girl’s determination to rescue a 27-year-old autistic man from the persecution of their small town. Improv Bootcamp!

The REP’s Improv Bootcamp classes are all about having fun and learning to think on your feet! This 6 week improv workshop is for kids ages 4-14. Our creative classroom space sets the tone for a fun-filled exploration of the art of comedy. Students learn short and long form improv, comedic character work, and more! Students will show off their new improv skills for their friends and family on The REP stage at The REP’s Improv Army Showcase. Classes meet once a week and beginners are always welcome.
