Alaqua Animal Refuge Pet of the Week “Lancelot”
Like his namesake, “Lancelot” is dashing, handsome and debonair. Unfortunately, his fairy book story recently took a turn. He was adopted from Alaqua about 7 years ago and his dad’s failing health forced him to bring him back to a “safe place” so we could find him a new family. Lancelot loves dogs, but since he thinks that cats and kittens have “Cooties”, we have to keep him separate from the other felines. His isolation means that visitors do not get to see him. He is about 8 years old, is quite the charmer, is vocal and loves to rub against his human. He misses his home and is waiting patiently for someone to once again give him a lap to curl up on.
