Blue Marlin Realty Group announces 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament Proceeds to benefit the Emerald Coast Golden Retriever Rescue
DESTIN, Fla. (October 8, 2015) – Blue Marlin Realty Group will host their third annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Regatta Bay Golf and Yacht Club.
The tournament will begin with registration at 11:00 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Entrance fees are $150 for individual players or $500 to sign up a foursome. All tournament players will receive a complimentary brunch courtesy of Another Broken Egg of America and lunch will be served on the course, provided by Lenny’s Sub Shop of Destin. An after party and awards ceremony will follow the tournament at the Regatta Bay Clubhouse with food donated by Landshark’s Pizza Co., along with a silent auction, raffle prizes and live entertainment. The tournament and after party are open to the public. Golfers can register a team or individually at Blue Marlin Realty Group’s new Destin office at 607 Harbor Boulevard or at the Regatta Bay Clubhouse.
“We are overjoyed to see how the event continues to grow each year and raise more funds for such amazing local organizations,” said Blue Marlin Realty Group Co-Broker, Jerry Sullivan. “We raised over $15,000 at last year’s tournament and we are hoping to top that amount this year.”
Proceeds will benefit the Emerald Coast Golden Retriever Rescue, a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on providing medical care and finding loving homes for Golden Retrievers and other lab breeds that have been abandoned, abused or surrendered. The ECGRR covers the entire Panhandle of Florida west of Tallahassee.
“The ECGR’s mission instantly spoke to the entire golf tournament board of directors,” said Blue Marlin Realty Group Co-Broker, Johnathan Hughes. “We are excited to help create new possibilities for the organization and bring their efforts to the forefront of the community.”
To date, $27,089.32 has been raised for local charities by Blue Marlin Realty Charity Golf Tournaments.

Blue Marlin Realty Group is actively seeking $250 “Spay & Snip” sponsorships, that will provide the funds to spay or neuter one animal, which is currently the ECGRR’s greatest need. Hole sponsorships are also available for $100 each.
