EMERALD COAST THEATRE COMPANY EXPANDS 2015 SUMMER THEATER CAMP SERIES TO BAY COUNTY Theater company offers summer camps at Gulf Coast State College
Miramar Beach, Fla. (June 11, 2015) — Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC), a
not-for-profit professional theater company based in Miramar Beach, Florida, is
partnering with Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Fla. for two exciting
summer theater camps designed for kids who love to perform and want to discover
the world of theater.
“We are thrilled to partner with Gulf Coast State College to bring our summer
theater series to children in Bay County,” stated producing artistic director
Nathanael Fisher. “The expansion of our educational program truly helps us
fulfill our mission to enrich and entertain the Emerald Coast.”
The Visual and Performing Arts Division of Gulf Coast State College helped
facilitate the partnership with ECTC. “The ECTC summer theater series introduces
professional theater to the youth in our area in an approachable way,” stated
Gulf Coast State College associate professor Josh Hedden. “And, by providing
these experiences at a young age, we hope to develop a lifelong love of the arts
and theater.”
