Carly Bak in Concert at Camp Helen State Park   Carly Bak, singer/songwriter, will be in concert at Camp Helen State Park’s Americana Music series 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 3, in the Recreation Hall.  Admission to the park and concert is free, but donations to the Friends of Camp Helen will be appreciated.  Tike torches will light the way to the concert, which is suitable for all ages.  Refreshments will be available. The singer says,”I have many passions but all stem from my childhood infatuation with nature, music, folklore and watching people.”  She weaves soulful harmonies, rhythmic Americana melodies, with a blend of folk/blues/rock textures – drawing on influences such as Joni Mitchell, Patsy Cline, Emylou Harris, Etta James, and The Eagles. The event is the last of this year’s Americana Music series hosted by Lucky Mud and sponsored by Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection and the Friends of Camp Helen State Park.   Camp Helen State Park, just a mile east of Rosemary Beach, is at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway (Highway 98), Panama City Beach.  It is on the west side of the Phillips Inlet Bridge over Lake Powell.  For more information please call 850 233-5059 or email CampHelenFriends@gmail.com Camp Helen Lodge Camp Helen Lodge
