Video Voyeur Arrested
On Monday, September 30th, a customer used the bathroom facilities of the Sunglass Hut, located in Miramar Beach. Prior to the customer using the facilities, the manager, Ernest Moschino, set up his own personal cell phone in the mop bucket adjacent the toilet to video tape the customer using the bathroom. The customer noticed the cell phone after she finished using the bathroom and confiscated the cell phone. The customer then notified the Sheriff’s Office of the incident. Moschino submitted a written statement to the Sheriff’s Office that he had placed the cell phone in the mop bucket prior to allowing the victim to use the bathroom. On Wednesday, October 2nd, a search warrant was obtained to view the video recordings on Moschino’s cell phone. The phone contained two video images of women using the bathroom. One of the women was identified as the victim from the Sunglass Hut. The contents of the video also showed Moschino hiding the cell phone within the bucket prior to capturing images of the victim in the bathroom on September 30th.
Moschino was arrested yesterday, Monday, November 18th and booked in the Okaloosa County Jail.
