The event returns for it's 15th season of live jazz performances to the Aaron Beasant Park Amphitheater adjacent to Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL.
Known across the nation as "the ultimate weekend of smooth jazz", the festival has become synonymous in combining fun in the sun with top-notched national contemporary jazz entertainment. Artists to perform for 2103 include Boney James, Brian Culbertson, Tower of Power, Fourplay featuring Lalah Hathaway, Average White Band, Euge Groove, Peter White, Norman Brown, Rick Braun, Kirk Whalum, Steve Oliver, Tim Bowman, Ken Ford, DW3. Yancyy, Pamela Williams, Brian Lenair, Margo Rey, The Peet Project, Gail Jhonson, Joey Sommerville, Michael Ward, Eric Essix, Roman Street, Althea Rene', Karen Briggs, Mariea Antoinette, Dave McMurray, Gwen Foxx, Raysee Biggs, Al McKenzie, and Paul Dozier.
And back by popular demand, the Seabreeze Jazz Festival Host for 2013 will be comedian Alonzo Bodden — known for his specials on SHOWTIME® and his appearance on NBC-TV's Last Comic Standing. Alonzo Bodden has recently hosted the Smooth Jazz Cruise to rave reviews as well.
Named as "One of the Top 10 Jazz Festivals in the USA" by JazzIZ Magazine and a "Top 100 Event in North America" by the North America Tour Bus Association, the 2013 event promises to be as exciting as ever. Over 25,000 fans attended in 2012, traveling from 41 US states and six countries to take part this annual music event. A Smooth Jazz Dinner Cruise, a free Kick Off show in the streets at Pier Park, four days of non-stop live entertainment at the newly constructed amphitheater stage, and an upbeat weekend of late night After-Parties are set to entice "sun lovers" and music fans alike.
The 2013 lineup reflects many of the top charting smooth jazz artists for 2012 and 2013, with an emphasis on not just "the hits", but musical variety and diversity. The synergy of the performances is the secret to the festival's success with fans, many who travel from all over the USA to reconnect with friends and celebrate "the smooth jazz lifestyle".

A free Kick-Off Street Concert is planned for Thursday, April 18th from 1pm-3pm in front of the Food Court at Pier Park. Artists to perform include Brian Lenair, Margo Rey, The Peet Project, and the Motown Jazz Jam. Attendees are welcome to enjoy the show and meet the artists after the performance.
And as an added excitement for 2013, the City of Panama City Beach just completed the improvements to the performance area, including a new amphitheater stage with additional restrooms. The $2.6 million upgrade is part of monies provided by the Bay County Tourist Development Council resulting from fines paid by BP from the 2010 Gulf Oil Spill.

General Admission seating is lawn seating so attendees need to bring a lawn chair or a blanket as event is festival seating. No alcohol allowing inside or glass containers. A cash bar will be available inside the venue. Only small personal insulated totes no taller than 12 inches high allowed inside.
