Deputies locate sex offender wanted on numerous charges For Immediate Release January 14, 2013 Travis Letaz Williams, 27, eluded law enforcement for over a month but his freedom ended yesterday afternoon as Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies located him hiding in the attic of a home in the Watercolor area of South Walton. Williams was at the home visiting with individuals working there. Williams had numerous warrants out for his arrest. His warrants included Failure to Appear on original charge of Resisting without Violence, Sex Offender-Failure to Register, Sex Offender-Failure to Report Vacating Residence, Sex Offender-Failure to Report Residence Change, and Felony Battery by Strangulation. He was transported and booked into the Walton County Department of Corrections.
