Coastal Branch Library Prime Time  SANTA ROSA BEACH – On Wednesday, February 2 at 10:00 am, Demetrius Fuller, who is entering his fifth season as Music Director of Florida’s Sinfonia Gulf Coast, will be at the Coastal Branch Library to talk about the upcoming concert season.  Mr. Fuller has earned many national and international awards and is credited with raising Sinfonia’s artistic level and visibility within the region.   He will be bringing violinist Nick Kendall and jazz musician Chris Brubeck.  Mr. Kendall is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and debuted with the National Symphony Orchestra and the St. Louis Symphony as the winner of their Young Artists competitions.  Mr. Kendall is an acclaimed solo violinist and visits symphonies worldwide.   Chris Brubeck is the son of iconic jazz pianist Dave Brubeck.  He toured with his father for several years before forming his own group The Brubeck Brothers Quartet with his brother Daniel, Mike DeMicco and Chuck Lamb.  The quartet performs in jazz venues and with symphony orchestras around the world.  Mr. Brubeck is also a noted composer in his own right.  These winter programs are part of the “Coastal Branch Library’s Prime Time” scheduled January 19 – March 9, Wednesday mornings beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the library community room.
