Center continues Shop for a Job festivals to fill seasonal and permanent job openings

(November 4, 2010) – Over 50 stores at the nation’s largest designer outlet center, Silver Sands Factory Stores, are currently hiring for seasonal and permanent positions that equate to approximately 250 jobs. Designer companies are currently hiring staff of all experience levels and offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, generous store discounts and other great benefits.
“Some of our retailers are hiring up to 75 additional staff members for our Midnight Madness shopping event and the entire Black Friday weekend,” stated Traci Stokes, marketing director for Silver Sands. “Many seasonal positions have resulted in permanent careers that have helped our local workforce work their way up the corporate ladder at these designer companies.”
Silver Sands is streamlining the application process through its weekly Shop for a Job festivals. On Wednesday, November 10 & 17, from 1-6 p.m., applicants may visit Shopper Services, located between Michael Kors and Juicy Couture, to complete a profile sheet that will be accepted by all tenants with open positions. Complimentary copies of the profile sheet, a list of job opportunities and benefit information will be distributed. During that timeframe, applicants may present their profile sheet to managers and receive an on-the-spot interview.
